The ability to ask sincere, thoughtful and engaging questions is part of the ‘secret sauce’ for anyone who is highly skilled at conversation in any environment, whether personal or professional.

Further, this ability doesn’t strictly belong in the domain of the extroverts. Susan Cain, author of,  Quiet discusses many of the misconceptions about introverts and how they differ from simply being shy. Quiet is arguably one of the more interesting books of 2014 and definitely worth reading.
